Downloadable Mexican Wrestler Mask
So maybe the cat and dog masks weren't your thing? How about a Mexican Wrestler Mask for Halloween?
The George Eastman House currently has an interesting exhibit called Lucha Libre! Masked Mexican Wrestlers with photographs, films and artifacts from Mexico City. It's a fascinating peek into the real and imaginary world of Mexican lucha libre (free form) wrestling.

The Eastman House provided us with a scan of one of these masks so we could offer a downloadable mask pdf. What fun to carry out your day disguised as a Mexican Wrestler! If you need help coming up with your wrestler name try this site. The wrestler/co-worker pictured here is "Professor Alchemist".

I am considering printing out a bunch of these on the Kodak EasyShare 5500 All-in-One Inkjet Printer and starting some sort of Mexican wrestling gang.
Happy printing! I mean "Grrrrrrr"!
Halloween Inkjet Downloadables

These two are featured on today's Picture of the Day. I can appreciate this picture becuse I also enjoy taking pictures of my pets. Especially at this time of year... Halloween.

I know some people have mixed feelings about making animals dress up, but my pets have a pretty good life. They are waited on hand and foot so the least they can do is get dressed up once in awhile for my amusement.
This year however, I have decided to turn the tables. Instead of dressing up the cat and dog, I am going to use the cat and dog AS costumes.
I took two closeup pictures of my pet's faces and made them into masks you can print out on your inkjet printer! You too can go trick or treating as Oscar the Pug or Stewie the Cat! (mask instructions here on the inkjet gallery)

If you have a Kodak EasyShare All-in-One printer, the ink is so inexpensive you can print out enough masks for your entire office! Won't that freak your boss out?

Are you looking for something different to hand out to the neighborhood kids this year? Why not print out these Oscar and Stewie lollipop covers? (lollipop cover instructions here on the inkjet gallery)

You will be the most popular house on the block. Happy Halloween!
Inkjet Photo Votive Candle Holders

Do you like these votive candle holders? I made them! I like using photos for my crafty projects and I also like using my inkjet printer.
These were made with glass votive candle holders (obviously), inkjet transparency paper and my Kodak All-in-One 5300 Inkjet printer.

To make your own, check out the Kodak AiO Printer Feature and Project Gallery for step by step instructions.
Since black ink cartridges cost $9.99 and color are $14.99 you can afford to make them for all your friends!
Now That's Neat - Inkjet Printer Bells and Whistles
Have you tried our new AiO printers? The one in my house is getting all kinds of use. Especially since school has started back up for the kids! I have had many pleasant surprises with some of its bells and whistles. So I thought I would post on TGIIF (Thank God its Inkjet Friday) and share three with you...
#1 - Photo prints with a border
Do you like your photos printed with borders or not? I find
I like choosing the border option when printing photos. It has a more classic
look. Perhaps I am a bit retro. What do you think?
#2 - Proofsheet printing
There is a button on the printer's control panel labeled "Proofsheet".
I thought I would try out the feature and placed a memory card in the reader.
Then simply select "Print Proofsheet."

Voila, three sheets of with 25 thumbnails on each popped out (there were 75 photos on my card).
But wait, there's more! On the printed proofsheet under each thumbnail is a small oval. You can fill in the ovals of the pictures you want to print. Then place the proofsheet on the scanner, select "Scan Proofsheet" and it will print those indicated pictures - very slick!

#3 - Scan, straighten, separate
Beyond the scanners ability to read a proofsheet it also does an amazing thing with groups of photos or documents. Just place the set of things you want to scan on the platen. They can be in any order, even crooked. The scanner will not only straighten the individual things you are scanning it will also place them in their own individual files.

Okay, admittedly I am a bit biased relative to this Kodak printer but with ink up to half the cost of other printers I am really digging it. It is getting great reviews on the home front with my wife and kids! To borrow a line from Kix Cereal our new printer has been Kid-Tested, Mother-Approved!
