Photo Projects for Fathers and More

We just featured two great projects in the Tips & Projects Center for Father's Day that could be used for any occasion, really.

For a really cute collage all you need are letters spelling out a word and a willing kid. Here you see adorable Caroline spelling out D-A-D-D-Y for Father's Day. You could use the same idea for Mother's Day, Happy Birthday or Congratulations. The possibilities are endless. Well, as long as the child feels like posing at least.

Here are some tips for creating your own letter collage.

Another good photo project for a Father's Day gift or other occasion are photo book plates. Book plates are a nice way to label the books you own. Adding a photo makes them extra special.

To make your own download the bookplate pdf's from the project page, print them out and glue them into your books.

There are four different designs you can use. Thanks Joel for letting me use your picture as an example. You can use one these book plates to label your copy of "Studio Lighting and Me". Ha-ha.
