Photo Balloon Tags

My little sister Emily... (Yes, my little sister. I don't know how she got taller than me, but it stinks) graduated from college this past weekend. I wanted to do something special so I made her photo balloon tags to celebrate the occasion.

This is a pretty easy project. I just printed out some pictures of my sister on my Kodak All-in-One Inkjet Printer and taped them to balloon strings.

If you want to see step by step instructions go check out the Photo Balloon Tag project page in the Tips & Project's Center.

On that page you will also find downloadable templates for the "Congratulations!" tags that you can print out and add to the balloon with the photo.

It looks cool if you do a bunch of balloons with different pictures and group them together.

There is also a template for Birthdays. I wanted to make one of these and the closest birthday I could think of was mine!

So I made a Happy Birthday Balloon for me. Umm, yeah, I made it for myself. Is that wrong?

I could see extending this idea to all sorts of occasions... anniversaries, showers, Father's Day.

What would you use them for?

Let me know and maybe I can make more templates.

Comment: Jenny, one of my nephews graduated this past weekend also, so I'll have to wait for the next occasion to use this one. Great idea, as usual! This idea could also be turned into streamers for a party, don't you think? Instead of crepe paper, use the string and pics and hang them in the doorway... how fun!
