Photo Plant Stakes

Signs of spring are finally starting to show. I am getting lots of ideas for spring-ish photo project ideas. Here is one that is featured on the Tips & Projects center right now.


Photo plant stakes! They are super easy to make and are perfect for adding a personal touch to a gift of flowers (like for Mother's Day) or just brightening up the plants around your house.


All you have to do is print out two copies of a favorite picture, cut each out as a circle and glue them back to back with floral wire in between. That's it. If you want more detailed instructions check out the project page.

I used pictures of Joel's kids for the example above. They look nice when the pictures are grouped together like that. I gave Joel the plant to take home and surprise their mom when it was done.

Comment: Jenny, I did the same thing for my parent's 40th wedding anniversary party 5 years ago. I made copies of their original wedding photo's, pasted them on floral wire and put them in the centerpieces on each table. I also used recent photo's of them. The guests had a great time travelling to other tables to view the pictures. It also got everyone up and socializing
